I think I am the last person on the PLANET to have a blog..... Doesn't everyone that starts a new blog start it out with a statement just like that?! Whatever.
But...I digress. I have big plans for this blog. It's going to be a little bit personal, a little bit business and a whole lotta rock and roll.
So, what's the blog-ettiquette here?! Am I supposed to introduce myself? What info do I include? Who is even reading this....?
I guess for tonight I will wing it with this: My name is jennity-jen-jen, but you can just call me jen. I am a mother, a wife and a soon-to-be purveyor of fine things... but more on that down a paragraph or two. We are the Coe-6. The Coe-6 is full of many, many, MANY new beginnings these days. BUT most notably are these two:
The boys both had to get glasses. Apparently they both suffered from eye strain. Now, don't go rushing off to submit me for mother of the year.... I think I am still in the running to win America's Next Top Mom. But seriously, who knew that too much up close time (read-PS2, Wii, Toontown and for Camden, reading anything he can get his hands on) can cause some serious eye strain that only glasses (or a time limit on such activities) can resolve. Hmp. I truly learn something new everyday.
And the other new beginning in the Coe-6 is..... my online fabric happy place is, like, almost ready to go! It has been SO much more work than I had ever thought. True to my blog-title, I love me some fabric. But, lets just say after ordering, photographing, cataloging, describing and lovingly caressing hundreds of bolts of fabric, fabric and I need some counseling to repair our relationship. I am feeling a little bitter about fabric, and frankly, MIGHT have experienced too much of a good thing. I think fabric and I need some time apart.
So, here is a picture of some baskets I made up that are eventually going to be prizes for a random, lucky person who signs up for of my mailing list before the end of September. The grand prize basket has 9 yards of fabric and the smaller basket has 4.5 yards. Now, there isn't much in life better than a little basket of free, fabulous fabric is there???!!!!
